Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley opens with a mild black plum and oak blend with a hint of milk chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a little acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused red plum with hints of strawberry, tea and touch of old oak. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away quickly. I would pair this Pinot with a roast boneless pork loin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The color is like a rare ruby lit by candlelight. The nose has the scent a warm mocha topped with whipped cream, sweet wood, hot mulled wine and a little smoke. A soft and silky texture on the palate, it tastes like a fresh picked strawberry, baking spices and tea leaves. This wine has a long lingering finish of raspberry jam that makes you want to go back for more.
