Wine Review: This pale coral colored Rosè of Pinot Noir from Merriam opens with a tangerine and watermelon bouquet with hints of peach. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and fresh. The flavor profile is a watermelon and chalky minerality blend with notes of maraschino cherry and white pepper. I also detected hints of saline and lime zest. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would serve this refreshing Rosè slightly chilled at the pool or beach this summer. With food, it paired well with steamed mussels. Enjoy – Ken
