Wine Review: This deep copper colored wine from Merriam opens with a watermelon, raspberry cream, dried herbs, and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and on the savory side. The flavor profile is a stony mineral, strawberry, and kiwi blend with notes of watermelon and hibiscus tea. We also detected a hint of honeydew melon in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a bit. This Rose would pair well with chilled shrimp cocktail or with broiled salmon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A crisp, delicate, blush colored rosé with notes of strawberry, white nectarine and jasmine on the nose and palate, with finishing notes of watermelon rind and lemon zest. This wine is the perfect addition to any summertime picnic or cheese and charcuterie board.
