Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay is classic California style. It opens with a vanilla bouquet with a hint of butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. Peter mentioned that it fully went through malolactic fermentation. The flavor profile is a butterscotch and pear blend with hints of oak. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This Chardonnay would pair perfectly with pasta carbonara from the North End. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light straw in color, with crisp stone fruit, floral notes of peach, pear and apricot on the nose. Thick and viscous mouth-feel with topical fruit of banana, mango and kiwi.
