Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Merlot opens with mild cranberry and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant with notes of black pepper, minerality, and old oak. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins linger for a little while. This wine would pair well with a pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich, bright ruby red in color. On the nose raspberry/bramble berry, plum and cherries. Thick textured wine with notes of blueberry, rich and round mouthfeel of exotic wild berry pie. The finish is loaded with cherry drops with cedar and vanilla tones, youthfull with expressive tannins.
