Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with a fragrant black cherry bouquet. The flavor profile is black raspberry and black cherry with notes of oak and black pepper. The finish is quite dry and its tingly tannins are nicely prolonged. This red would be a nice match for a herb encrusted pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: An elegant blend, the 2006 Miktos is dark ruby red in color with concentrated aromas of black berry fruits. On the palate, it is packed with layers of black cherry, cassis, blueberry and just a hint of pomegranate. Full bodied with refined tannins, this wine is supple, polished and balanced with a long, lingering and satisfying finish.
