Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot is one of Peter's best Merlot's yet. That was the consensus of our group at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a concentrated black raspberry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe and concentrated red raspberry with hints of oak and hint of oak in the background. The finish is dry and its tingly tannins linger for quite sometime. I would pair this wine with a messy rack of barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A delicious balance of earth and fruit, this wine is marked by aromas of leather and cherry cola that give way to flavors of violets and blueberry on the palate. A velvety mouthfeel with soft tannins and a lingering finish, this wine is a perfect pairing with lighter meat dishes such as lamb or duck.
