Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Chile opens with a blackberry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a pleasant black cherry with hints of mild smoky oak and gentle minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing it with lamb chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A deep and brilliant dark purple introduces a rich nose of ripe blackberries and raspberries. The main personality is ruled by a floral quality on top of a meaty background. Finishes with minerality along with spicy violets and wild berries. Recommended pairings include lamb or herb-based sauces.
