Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black cherry, pomegranate and cranberry bouquet with a hint of espresso. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a black cherry and mild minerality blend with notes of plum and caramel. I also detected some hints of black tea and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Cab is food friendly and would pair well with grilled bison sliders with blueberry barbeque sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine exhibits notes of ripe red cherries with a bright, lively mouthfeel that is balanced by sweet, dusty tannins. A veil of smoky char brings warmth. This wine is balanced and elegant with a powerful grace that ensures its aging potential for many years. Pair with New York strip or rack of lamb.
