Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored Petit Verdot is very good. It opens with a floral and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is an espresso and blackberry blend with notes of black plum. We also detected hints of black pepper and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and tannins are nicely prolonged. The Panel suggested pairing this Petit Verdot with thin sliced beef brisket. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Floral aromas jump out of the glass at you. In addition to rose petals, there are notes of ripe blueberries and wet stone minerality. In the mouth, the concentrated fruit is round. And full with powdery tannins. The bright acidity provides a lift on the finish that elevates the floral notes once more. This powerhouse of a wine can be enjoyed now, or safely cellared for years to come.
