Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Mer Soleil opens with a fresh lemon and faint cantaloupe bouquet with hints of Bosc pear and lychee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is a light lemon tea and saline blend with notes of light poached pear. We also detected hints of white peach, caramel apple, vanilla. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this gentle Chard with baked Dover sole or just sip it this summer with friends. Enjoy! - KWGTP

A refreshing, clean finish.
