Wine Review: This light yellow colored Semillon from Argentina opens with a musty oak and mild petrol like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is green apple with notes of papaya. I also detected hints of almond, minerality and a dash white pepper. The finish is dry and it drifts away nicely. This wine would pair perfectly with pan-fried rainbow trout or Chilean sea-bass. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Enjoy fresh, clean aromas of lemon zest and a slight hint of dry oak in the background that continue onto the palate where a lovely dose of crisp acidity provides a texture similar to that of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc combined. A super dry and clean finish may make this the perfect seafood wine.
