Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Meeker opens with fragrant red raspberry bouquet with notes of wet stone and cinnamon stick. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced gentle plum with notes of mild red raspberry, oak, and bay leaf. I also detected hints of craisin in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its refined tannins drift away nicely. This Cab is ready to go and would pair nicely with a filet mignon or a pan roasted veal chop with blackberry Cabernet sauce. Enjoy – Ken
