Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel based wine opens with a wet slate, oregano and rhubarb bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile explodes as it enters the back half of your mouth. The flavor profile is graphite and black plum blend with notes of raspberry tea and oak. I also detected hints of cinnamon and rhubarb mixed in as well. The finish is rather dry and its tannins build up and linger for quite some time. This very good Zin based wine would pair very nicely with Memphis dry-rubbed baby back ribs. Enjoy - Ken
