Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Meeker opens with a fragrant cranberry and crushed stone bouquet with hints of pomegranate and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is very red fruit driven wine featuring spicy red plum, cranberry and red currant. I also detected some mild loamy minerality, black olive and oak towards the end. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and mild dusty tannins fade away nicely. This Cab is well-made and I would pair it with Toulouse-style cassoulet. Enjoy – Ken
