Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet based blend from Meeker is on the tame side for a 2013 offering. It opens with a black raspberry and cola like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused tart cherry with notes of oak and hints of strawberry and red licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length. This wine is ready to be enjoyed now with a veal chop. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Four Kings is truly royal. Not because it's fit for a King, but because it is a King, and we're so happy to share it with everyone. This Bordeaux-inspired blend combines four royal grapes— Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot— to create a muscular, fruity, and memorable wine. It’s got big tannins balanced with a fruit-forward nose. This wine is an elegant beast— powerful, gorgeous, and memorable.
