Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from McPrice Myers is a big boy! It opens with a black currant and dark chocolate bouquet with hints of black olive, moist pipe tobacco, and black tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bold and fruit forward. The flavor profile is ripe blackberry and anise blend with notes of oak, black pepper, and blueberry. I also detected hints of espresso, and cinnamon in the aftertaste. The finish is very dry. Its flavors, acidity, and bold and dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. I would decant this Cabernet Sauvignon for at least an hour before pairing it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Black currant reduction smoked black cherries, chocolate ganache, sweet tobacco, French press coffee, tri-tip crust, and bay leaf. Powerful attack transitions into a broad, supple mid-palate. Persistent, youthful, and spry tannins. Structural, contemplative, and eternal finish.
