Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah from McPrice Myers opens with a red currant and black raspberry bouquet with hints of mint and red licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and licorice blend with notes of black raspberry and graphite. We also detected hints of oak, fig, black pepper, and dried strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Syrah with an Oscar’s steak burrito or with short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Peach-blueberry cobbler, bouquet garni, rib roast pan drippings, Easter lily, tamari. Palate is luxurious, broad, with a savory, yet juicy, and mouthwatering finish.
