Wine Review: This midnight black colored Syrah based blend from McPrice Myers opens with a boysenberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of cherry-cola, cedar, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, rich, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty cassis, graphite, and tobacco blend with notes of cinnamon tea and cedar. We also detected some hints of vanilla and loam in the after taste. The finish is dry and its chewy tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this impressive red blend with a Kona encrusted tomahawk ribeye steak or just sip it by the firepit. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Mac's Bordeaux-Rhône blend Fait Accompli is being renamed in 2021 as F.A. "A thing that has already happened or been decided before those affected hear about it. Leaving them with no option but to accept it.
