Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant bouquet with hints of black cherry, oak, dried herbs, and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is balanced and has rounded edges. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features macerated black cherries and black currant with notes of dark chocolate. I also detected hints of black licorice, blackberry, and espresso. The finish is dry and its moderate sticky tannins drift away nicely. This Cab would pair well with grilled Angus steak tips or a slow cooked pot roast. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
