Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored wine is a bit over the top. It opens with a fragrant black raspberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of mocha. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is an extracted black raspberry and oak blend with notes of graphite. I also detected hints of espresso. The finish is dry and its medium tannins stick around for a very long time. I would pair this good value big wine with your favorite burger off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of smoky plum, mocha, licorice, and black raspberries. On the palate, Rainier cherry, boysenberry, dark chocolate, brown spice, lush tannins and a long, supple finish. Enjoy with Korean short rib tacos.
