Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from McIntyre opens with a fragrant ripe pear, pineapple and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, pleasantly acidic and rather juicy. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear with notes of almond and gentle oak. I also detected hints of lemon verbena and a touch of vanilla. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This is a food friendly Chard and it would pair well with seared sea scallops over a Chardonnay creamed corn. Enjoy - Ken
