Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot from Santa Lucia Highlands opens with a very inviting black cherry bouquet with hints of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a black cherry and cola blend with hints of gentle oak, black raspberry and a touch of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly. I would pair it with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vintage marks our newest change in label progressions and one of the most sophisticated change as well. Just like the approachable label, this Pinot is dark and concentrated with overtones of plums, cranberries and bright fruits. The smokey flavors linger on your palate as the smooth acid delivers an everlasting taste.
