Wine Review: This Chardonnay is an attractive pale gold color. It has a buttery nose along with honeysuckle florals, coconut, lime zest and just a hint of green herbs. On the palate, it is refreshing and crisp, with a medium body and medium acidity. I detected flavors of green apple, lime, pineapple and steely minerality with a hint of lemon zest. The finish was dry and it had a moderate length. I would suggest having this with coconut fried shrimp. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 Big Max Chardonnay is pale yellow colored with golden hues. It displays green apple and honeysuckle aromas that are closely followed by pretty stone fruit, white peach and apricot, with just the right touch of soft, toasty vanilla. Its medium-bodied entry spreads out on the palate with crisp fruit and toasty flavors, vibrant, salivating acidity and a long finish. Best with crab-cakes or lobster rolls.
