Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Germany opens with a strawberry and cranberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty earthy loam and stewed black plum blend with notes of stony minerality and black currant. I also detected hints of clove and cola. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. This very tasty Pinot would pair well with a bowl of venison stew. Enjoy - Ken
