Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and pale straw-colored Pinot Blanc from Germany opens with a lemon zest and almond bouquet with hints of grilled pineapple, pastry crust, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with mouthwatering plus acidity. It is also lively yet rounded. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral influenced quince and lemon blend with notes of clover honey, grilled pineapple, and chamomile tea. The finish is dry, and its tingly acidity and flavors linger and last for quite a while. The Panel would pair this Pinot Blanc with a fancy poached sea bass taco, baked Dover sole or crème brulee. Enjoy – KWGTP
