Wine Review: This slightly opaque and medium ruby colored Zinfandel with a strawberry rhubarb and black raspberry bouquet with hints of red plum, mint and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and easy to drink with a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a tasty mild plum and gentle strawberry with nuances of cola, red raspberry and chocolate. The finish is dry and it flavors and refined tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this elegant Zin with a veal chop or Brazilian spiced turkey. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2018 Dry Creek Zinfandel has a nose of black cherry, molasses dripped over coffee cake crumbs and intriguing dried-herb and earth tones. Fruit is prominent on the palate, then surrenders to lingering savory and mineral notes. Enjoy for the next 7-10 years.
