Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a fragrant pink grapefruit and pea bouquet with hints of asparagus and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features ruby grapefruit, asparagus, and lime flavors along with chalky minerality, white peach and white pepper. The finish lingers and lasts for quite some time. I would pair this easy to drink and very good value Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish skewers this summer. Enjoy – Ken
