Wine Review: This is not your typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Instead, it is a peach lovers delight. This pale-yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with peach pit and Meyer lemon bouquet with hints of violets. On the palate, this wine is crisp and has mouth-tingling acidity. It displays flavors of peach and pear that dominate along with a gentle minerality throughout. I also detected subtle hints of lime, pineapple and fresh crushed Thai basil in the background. This very good value Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with some brie and fruit salad on a warm summer day. – Dave
