Wine Review: This bright straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a very fragrant gooseberry bouquet with notes of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tart grapefruit with notes of minerality and tangerine. I also detected a hint of lemon as well. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with broiled scallops with an orange cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Like a sip of fresh air! This classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is overflowing with tropical aromas of passionfruit and guava. The palate is deliciously punchy and aromatic, with concentrated flavors of citrus and tropical fruits all wrapped up in a textural finish. It’s pretty tasty if we say so ourselves!
