Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Chile is a good value. It opens with a gooseberry and grass like bouquet with a hint of green pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild green pepper and gentle grapefruit blend with notes of minerality. I also detected hints of lime towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors subtly fade away. This Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly and would pair well with grilled swordfish skewers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a pale lime-yellow color, with an intense mineral and herbal nose, full of citrus aromas such as grapefruit and tropical fruits. The palate is soft and fresh, with pleasant roundness and a long, lasting finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is ideally served with fish and shellfish, from lobster and crab to oysters or clams-on-the-half shell.
