Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Chile opens with a faint peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a blend of mild oak infused Bartlett pear with notes of gentle minerality. I also detected a hint of tangerine is the background. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and would pair well with wild mushroom and chicken tortellini smothered in a mild cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a Chardonnay with a soft yellow color with flashes of green. The aromas it gives off are intense, mature and elegant, which reminds us of tropical fruits such as mango and papaya. Notes of honey and peaches, along with caramel and cream were given by the barrel fermentation. In the mouth the wine is concentrated with a good volume, its acidity marks sharpness and freshness, the end in the mouth is persistent and elegant.
