Wine Review: This straw colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant oak and apple bouquet with hints of pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, mouthwatering and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty Bosc pear with notes of mild minerality and gentle oak. I also detected hints of faint pineapple as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well a cilantro lime grilled arctic char with honey glaze. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Bright straw Aromas and Flavors: Aromas of star fruit, papaya, pear, peach and lemon zest are accompanied by chamomile, wild flowers and a strong mineral note in the finish Palate: A rich, savory mouthfeel, with balancing acidity
