Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a mild oak and honey bouquet with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a pear and green apple blend with integrated oak and honey. I also detected hints of touch of toffee. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for a little while after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well with three cheese tortellini with a mild butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Bright straw. Nose: Aromas of marzipan, hazelnuts, salted caramel, lemon zest, pear cobbler, hint of smoke, fresh papaya, and underlying notes of green slate minerality. Palate: Unctuous mouthfeel, with balanced acidity and compelling structure followed by notes of pineapple and bright citrus.
