Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Greco di Tufo from Mastroberardino is very good. It opens with a green apple and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of wet stone and yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty honeydew melon, chalky minerality and green tea blend with notes of faint white peach and saline. We also detected hints faint hints of yellow grapefruit and a touch of vanilla. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Greco is very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a bay scallop casserole. Enjoy – Ken
