Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Massican opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of yellow bell pepper, lime, and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fun, and fresh. The flavor profile is white grapefruit and lime blend with notes of tonic water and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of white pepper, green apple, and peach pit in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity show very nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with sushi and grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – KWGTP
