Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Tocai Friulano based blend from Massican opens with a gentle grapefruit and white peach bouquet with hints of wet stone and light lemon, and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is crushed stone, lime, and Anjou pear blend with notes of white pepper and white grapefruit. We also detected some hints of peach pit and white tea. The finish is quite dry, and its flavors and acidity are refreshing and lengthy. The Tasting Panel would pair this white blend with oysters or with sushi. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Massican's flagship "Cal-Ital" (Mediterranean white wine) blend, contains 30% of all the Tocai and Ribolla planted in California. Elevator pitch: Massican's Northern Italian blend
