Wine Review: This medium salmon colored wine from Italy is produced with some of the grapes being lightly semi-dried before crushing, creating a bouquet of red berries, cherry candy and apple blossom. It is fruity and just slightly off-dry, slightly creamy and round, with a medium body and medium plus acidity. It has flavors of cherry, nectarine and red berries. The finish is moderate in length and has some spiciness. It would pair well with a big bowl of cioppino. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Salmon pink in color with cherry reflections. Elegant bouquet of wild strawberries and cherries on the nose. Well-balanced on the palate with a soft body and attractive freshness. Very dry and long on the finish, which ends with the same fruitiness seen first on the nose. This is excellent as an aperitif and with antipasti, light pasta dishes, or shellfish. It is intended to be drunk while still young.
