Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with an oak influenced black cherry with a hint of raspberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and very easy going. The flavor profile is an old oak influenced mild tart black cherry with a hint of gentle red raspberry in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a little sticky. This is a perfect wine to pair with Italian food. I would try it with meat lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep opaque colour - ruby red on the edges. Sharp, clean nose typical of Sangiovese with attractive hints of cinnamon. Blackberries and blueberries on the palate. The acidity is well balanced by soft tannins with hints of vanilla. Long, berry fruit finish.
