Wine Review: This is a deceiving Rose as the wine is in a dark bottle and even poured looks more like a Pinot Noir than a Rose. On the nose, this wine opens up with rose petals, raspberry, and mint notes. On the palate, the mint shines through mid-way but it's the orange zest, cranberry, and fresh strawberries that steal the show. The acidity is a bit soft but expected from a Rose with one year of bottle age. The finish has a nice length to it but it sits heavier than expected. Paired with seared tuna steak, this is a show stopper. - Nicolay
