Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Mas de Boislauzon opens a wild Maine blueberry and crushed seashell bouquet with hints of dried strawberry and oolong tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated mild acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, delicate, smooth, and very well-balanced. The flavor profile is horehound, mild dried strawberry, and dried red cherry. We also detected notes of dried herbs rosemary, and a drop of gin in the mix. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins stick around for very long time. The Tasting Panel would enjoy this CDP on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP
