Wine Review: This dark ruby red blend from Priorat opens with fragrant cherry and vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a concentrated and extracted black cherry with notes of oak and red plum with hints of balsamic. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well managed and linger nicely. This flavorful wine would pair nicely with a veal chop. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: From selected vineyards between 12 and 40 years old, primarily Garnacha together with Carinena and Syrah, aged 12 months in new French oak. Retains a youthful purple color, the developed aroma is full of blackberry fruit and exotic balsamic notes. Consistent flavors and a long and elegant finish without heaviness or heat belie its concentration.
