Wine Review: This brilliant green-gold (almost colorless) Chardonnay from the Columbia Valley opens with aromas of candied ginger, jasmine tea and rubbed sage. The entry to the mouth is powerful and the medium- to full-bodied wine covers the palate with spicy lemon curd and almond flavors. The interplay between fruit, acid and minerals is seamless and the finish is crisp and lengthy. This delightful Chard would pair well with a shrimp (or chicken) saffron and asparagus risotto. – Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Rich and refined with elegant oak characters and aromas of sweet vanilla and apple on the nose. Tart, yet smooth, with elements of citrus, including lemon and orange peel emerging throughout the palate.
