Wine Review: Very light ruby in color, this 100% Grenache from the Columbia Valley opens with aromas of flint, sandalwood and cigar box. Entering with light to medium in body, the flavor profile is boysenberry and cassis with a hint of anise. The heavy oak on the nose and palate is impossible to overlook (think bourbon barrel) but it works well and supports the supple tannins and ripe but youthful fruit. The wine closes with a warm, enveloping finish. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: The aromas are of a warm crackling fire and sweet ripe fruit. A warmth flows from the first sip, filling the senses with ripe juicy flavors that conclude with mouthwatering tannins.
