Wine Review: With a nose reminiscent of granny smith apple pie, the Maryhill Chardonnay follows suit with many other Washington state wineries. On the palate, the wine has a nice balance of tart stone fruits and ripe citrus fruits. As the wine develops in the bottle, an undertone of baking spices become more apparent along with riper flavors like champagne mango. That being said, this wine is medium bodied. The finish is a tad shorter than what I would like it to be. All in all, a crowd pleaser. Would pair nicely with baked cod. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Rich and refined with elegant oak characters and aromas of sweet vanilla and apple on the nose. Tart, yet smooth, with elements of citrus, including lemon and orange peel emerging throughout the palate.
