Wine Review: This Sonoma County Chardonnay from Martin Ray is pale golden yellow colored. It opens with a butter, oak, and lime bouquet with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is medium bodied with some gentle acidity. The flavor profile features lime with some mild oak towards the finish. This is a Chardonnay for Sauvignon Blanc lovers. We would suggest pairing it with swordfish kebabs and mango salsa. – Karen and Stuart
Winemaker Notes: We are thrilled with the intricacies and sophistication of this vintage’s Chardonnay. Delicious aromas of ripe cantaloupe, golden apples, decadent coconut cream pie, and aromatic honeysuckle, with pronounced Meyer lemon zest make this fresh, crisp Chardonnay an effortless companion with food as well as elegant everyday drinker. Pair this refreshing Chardonnay with grilled herb marinated sea bass with mango chutney.
