Wine Review: This light coral colored Rosato from Martha Stoumen opens with a mild peach and bubble gum bouquet with hints of lime zest and cedar. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, balanced, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is mild peach and faint Bazooka bubble gum blend with notes of guava and rose tea. I also detected some hints of saline and Bosc pair in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this very good Rose with Novs Scotia steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep, complex aromas of prickly pear, aged cedar, and Oloroso Sherry-like vibes will keep your nose coming back to the glass before you even taste this wine. This solera was started with the 2020 vintage and NV No. 4 has the aromatic complexity to match what only time and patience can do to a wine during élevage. The palate is dry, with umami and gorgeous acidity. Slide into sheepskin slippers, grab a knit, and head to the back porch with this bottle to marvel at the setting sun through the trees. Enjoy with a southern Spanish-inspired tapas spread.
