Wine Review: This dark color coral colored wine from Malene opens with a pleasant mild wild strawberry and wet stone bouquet with a hint of maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and pleasantly acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced wild strawberry with notes of maraschino cherry. I also detected hints of ginger ale and a splash of grenadine. The finish is a tad off-dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Rose is a nice summer offering. I would enjoy it poolside with some grilled lime shrimp. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Malene Rose is incredibly expressive on the nose, leaping from the glass with intense notes of peach, white grapefruit, and peony. On the palate, the wine is bright and lively with juicy notes of strawberry and nectarine that lead to a crisp and refreshing finish that evokes a fresh ocean breeze. Pair with bouillabaisse (fish soup) or Baja fish tacos.
