Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Nuits-Saint-Georges, France was the winner of our recent mini-blind tasting. On the palate, this wine opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet with hints of cola, allspice and sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and velvety. The flavor profile is a tasty cherry pie with notes of cola and blueberry. We also detected hints of strawberry rhubarb, black tea and minerality. The finish is long and extended with its flavors and dry fine-grained tannins lingering. This Pinot Noir is food friendly and the Panel suggested pairing it with a filet mignon or a Chilean sea bass recipe. Enjoy - KWGTP
