Wine Review: This pinkish orange colored wine opens with a very faint strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced watermelon with hints of unruly strawberry and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is a nice summer Rose that we enjoyed at the race track in Saratoga. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 release of the "Le Saint Pale" Rose is delicate and lively yet fleshy and generous. Vibrant aromas of red fruit, watermelon rind and lime blossom are supported by the subtlest touches of aniseed and lanolin. The palate is bright, energetic and mouthwatering with ripe orchard fruit and floral notes supported by a steely mineral backbone. The wine's juicy natural acidity is complemented by an underlying creaminess that enlivens the mouthfeel and delivers balance to the long and luscious finish.
